Best and ultimate packing list for travel

DSCN0070

When you look at this list please realize this is the stuff I packed for a 6 week trip to SE Asia because I wanted to be prepared for various ailments in case I could not reach a doctor easily, which may be very possible when traveling internationally, as well as having enough clothes to cover various weather patterns and night events.   Every time I travel I find out the hard way the nuisance that it is to not carry these items with you.  Almost every item on this list represents something I forgot to bring.

Please bear in mind that this list is provided so that you can avoid unnecessary trips to the store or pharmacy and instead are able to enjoy your vacation to the fullest.  You can follow this list as much or as little as you want, it is a comprehensive list that includes items for a traveling female.  Also keep in mind that there are items you will need for places where it rains a lot, or it is cold and others you will need in places such as beaches, where sun block and sunglasses are a must.   My trip starts in San Francisco, and then goes from North Vietnam to South Vietnam, then Cambodia, then Bali returning to San Francisco so I will be covering all sorts of weather and a wide array of activities cultural as well as outdoorsy.

Before you go, find out any vaccinations you may need, visa requirements, crime statistics or things you need to be aware of and each country’s customs.   Learn a few words in the language of the country you are traveling to if you can.  Learn as much as you can about the history of each country.
